Established in 1995, The American College of Civil Trial Mediators is a non-profit association of professional Mediators.
College Fellows are selected for membership by invitation through a comprehensive application process based upon their experience, skill, reputation, ethical standards, and commitment to alternative dispute resolution. The College accepts members who have clearly demonstrated years of working in the field at the highest level of achievement. Consistent with its purpose, the College has a select membership with approximately 150 Mediators located nationwide.
In addition to maintaining a full-time mediation practice, College Fellows regularly engage in conducting educational programs, lecturing, and authoring publications. The College annually publishes The American Journal of Mediation. The College recognizes individuals and organizations making significant contributions to ADR through awards and grants.
